Trivia Throne is a strategic make-your-own-trivia game for 3-8 players inspired by Jackbox Party Pack games such as Trivia Murder Party or The Wheel of Enormous Proportions.

The goal of the game is to make trivia questions relevant to the players, and offer a unique and involved bonus layer for players who might either not be into trivia games or consider themselves bad at them.

It aims to achieve this by allowing players to roll dice to pick a category, then write their own trivia questions. There are four rounds, in which players earn points. In between each round, players have the chance to risk their previously won points by buying cards that may either earn them more points or change the trivia experience in some way.

• Does the game come with any pre-made trivia questions for players who can't think of any?
  No, but the rules allow players to use external help in coming up with questions. It's also perfectly fine to come up with simple/easier questions! In fact, the game even rewards players who write questions that are answered both correctly and incorrectly by other players - to try and facilitate a fair difficulty.

• Not everyone in my player group owns Tabletop Simulator and we can't meet in person. Can I still play the game?
  Yes. There are a few viable options:
  
  If even just one person in your player group owns Tabletop Simulator, it's enough to have them share the screen in a video call and manage cards for all players (you do not hide cards in your hand from other players). All other players can follow along by either printing out a player sheet, or filling out an editable PDF of the player sheet (which comes as a separate PDF with forms that make it easy to fill out). The questions are then read out by each player. Playtests have proven this is a perfectly viable to play Trivia Throne.
  
  Finally, the download also includes JPGs/PNGs that you could use in alternative software (such as Tabletop Playground or PlayingCards.io), though setup will be required for this.

• Who helped you make this?
  My wife Cassie helped proofread and edit the game. My friend SKETCH provided his luscious voice for the trailer. My friend Quippersnapper provided a lot of extensive and helpful feedback. Honestly, loads of friends gave helpful feedback and patiently playtested the game with me. • What are some frequently asked trivia questions?
  I dunno! In all my playtests I haven't come across a single question that had been asked before by another player. That's kinda part of the fun of it!
